This is an example of resources that can be used within a maths lesson with a specific focus on place value. These cards can be stacked so that the children don’t get confused with the hundreds, tens and ones for example. This is a great way for the children to visualise it and it allows them to move the cards around if they want to change the number etc. It is a fun and engaging way to get the children active in their maths learning and would probably used more within KS1 and lower KS2. This can be used as an added resource for those children who may struggle with place value and should be something that the children can access as and when needed.
